Many people in countries around the world visit an ice skate shop or other form of skate store as part of their bid to keep fit. After all, gliding about on skates, whether on ice, tarmac or any other surface, can be a great way of enhancing cardio fitness and also of toning up various muscles.
According to Now Magazine Online, one of those who dons ice skates as part of her health regime is socialite, party planner and sister to Catherine, the new Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton. Ever since the wedding between her sibling and Prince William, she has been getting plenty of attention for her impressive physique.
The news source suggested that as well as donning her ice skates in the winter, she also skis in a bid to keep fit. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old swims regularly, works out in the gym and plays tennis.
Indeed, celebrity trainer Cornel Chin claimed it is obvious she puts in plenty of effort to maintain her svelte appearance. He added: "She's blessed with good genes - look at her mum - but she also spends a lot of time working out to look this toned."
Meanwhile, as well as all of these types of exercise, running is a good way to help keep a trim figure, Mr Chin suggested. He remarked: "Running is great for keeping fit but to really exercise your bum and thighs, work in some hills or steep inclines. Factor in a 30-minute run each week as part of your cardio exercise. Build up by combining short bursts of sprinting with bouts of slower jogging."
Anyone looking to buy exercise gear to help them in their efforts to look their best, whether they are after an ice skate shop, another type of skate store or a completely different sort of retail outlet, now has the option of either heading out to a town or retail centre or going online instead.
